Terms of Service

Peleh (the “Service”) is provided by Accumulation Point Pty Ltd. By uploading a paper or pasting an arXiv link you agree to these terms. They are written plainly because the relationship is simple: you give us a paper, we try to turn it into a presentation, and you can pay $6 if you want the result.

What you can do

What you can't do

Ownership of material

Your source stays yours. Uploading a paper or pasting an arXiv link gives us no ownership of it. Copyright in the source — the ideas, text, figures, data, and results — remains with its original author(s). We only need a limited licence to process your source for the purpose of producing your conversion (and, where relevant, to send the excerpts described in our Privacy policy to the Anthropic API).

The output is a derivative of your source. Generated slides (and the regenerated article) are automated derivatives of the material you supplied. Peleh and Accumulation Point Pty Ltd claim no ownership over them; whatever rights you held in the source you continue to hold in the output. Correspondingly, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to convert, share, and present that material — we cannot verify ownership on your behalf, and uploading material you have no right to use is a breach of these terms.

No warranty. The conversion is fully automated and is provided “as is”. We make no warranty that the output is correct, complete, faithful to the source, or suitable for any purpose. Review every slide before presenting — automated conversion can drop, reorder, or subtly misrender content.

Payments

$6 unlocks the PDF + LaTeX sources for one conversion. Payment is one-shot, not a subscription. If a deck is judged to have failed (most slides couldn't compile cleanly), it is automatically marked not-for-sale and the paywall does not appear.

Availability

Peleh is a small operation run by one person. The Service may be slow, unavailable, or change without notice. We do not guarantee uptime.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Peleh nor Accumulation Point Pty Ltd is liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from your use of the Service or of the generated output — including any indirect or consequential damages, and including any third-party or intellectual-property claim arising from material you chose to upload or from how you use the output. You agree to indemnify Accumulation Point Pty Ltd against claims arising from material you had no right to submit. Our total liability is in any case capped at what you paid us, which for most users is $0. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you may have under applicable consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
